The David Yanir Foundation for the Advancement of Colorectal Surgery in Israel is pleased to announce the appointment of up to ten travelling fellows for the duration of one week in the UK.
The one week travelling fellowship will be in London and will take part in Professor Healds’s TME course in Rectal Surgery.
This will be preceeded by a three day colorectal surgical attachment. The week will take place at the begining Febuary 2010.
Candidates must apply in writing by 31 August 2009 enclosing a CV and passport photograph.
Candidates must be qualified in general surgery Candidates must fluent in English.
Preference will be given to surgeons who have undertaken the Israeli Fellowship in colorectal surgery Members of the Israeli Colorectal Society.
Particular attention will be given to young surgeons who are contemplating further Colorectal specialization, and to surgeons in peripheral hospitals.
Candidates will be expect to provide a detailed report of their experiences in English, and appropriate letters of thanks to their sponsors on their return.
The foundation will expect a financial contribution from the candidates' parent surgical department and/or hospital.
